Presentations & Workshops

From keynote presentations to interactive workshops, these services bring trauma-informed insights to life. Audiences not only learn how trauma and stress shape the brain and body, but also walk away with practical strategies for healing, resilience, and growth—whether in professional settings or personal lives.

Trauma-Informed Care Workshops

Workshops are designed to be interactive, practical, and adaptable for diverse audiences.

Each session explores how trauma and chronic stress affect the brain and body, and why traditional talk-based approaches don’t always resolve the impact. By blending trauma-informed education with the latest insights from neurobiology, participants gain a clear understanding of how trauma responses develop—and, more importantly, how they can be released.

Workshops can be tailored for school-age children, parents, professionals, or adults of any age, ensuring the content connects meaningfully with the needs of each group.

Think of each workshop as a kind of practice ground—a safe space to explore new skills before using them in the moments that matter most. Beyond theory, workshops emphasize hands-on learning. Participants practice psychosensory tools such as Havening Techniques®, mindfulness strategies, and grounding methods they can immediately use in daily life or professional settings.

Whether in a one-hour introduction or a full-day training, these workshops provide both knowledge and experience—helping individuals, teams, and organizations cultivate resilience, support healing, and create environments where people feel safe, connected, and empowered.

Conference Presentations

As a keynote/conference speaker, I bring the science of trauma and healing into focus in ways that are clear, engaging, and deeply relevant.

My presentations highlight the connections between trauma-informed education, neurobiology, and how stress and adversity shape the brain and body. Audiences gain an understanding of why trauma responses occur, what happens when the “thinking brain” and “emotional brain” fall out of balance, and how these insights can transform the way we teach, lead, and support our clients and one another.

Presentations can be tailored for school-age children or adapted for adults of any age, ensuring the content resonates with each unique audience.

In addition to education and awareness, I emphasize tools that work.

By introducing psychosensory techniques—including Havening Techniques®—I demonstrate how simple, accessible methods can calm the nervous system, release stored distress, and support resilience growth.

Whether speaking to educators, healthcare teams, first responders, or community leaders, my presentations are designed to leave participants not just informed, but equipped with strategies they can begin using right away.
